Employees

As a mandatory condition of employment, most employees of a town, housing authority or special district within Norfolk County are members of it's Retirement System. Membership provides a contractual relationship rooted in Massachusetts state law. Each member's situation is unique. However, in general, employees that provide long-term service to the public sector while making statutorily determined contributions into the retirement system will collect a monthly defined benefit upon retirement.
